"Dismounts from the Chip Aisle" is a collection of quirky perceptions and storytelling of life experiences (the chip aisle) and challenges we encounter in successfully transitioning from one "bag of chips" to the next (the dismount).
A distilled metaphor for life, the "Chip Aisle." The outcome of a spring skiing trip to McCall, Idaho in May 2008. Likening the plethora of potato chip choices in a grocery store to the choices we make in life. One such choice involved regretfully stuffing our faces w/ seasoned crackers, craisins (no, not a typo - cranberry raisins) and soggy Oreo’s. We coupled this with a deeper discussion, to a concept of "mastering the dismount”, the ability to comfortably transition from one activity to the next. Through all of this and in a little over 24 hours, "Dismounts from the Chip Aisle" was born. So the next time you have a funny story to share or can relate to one of ours, pull up a chair, grab a "chip" and tell us about it.
